Romeo and Juliet
So, it finally happened, some time towards the end of last year, I want to say:
I started writing my Romeo and Juliet parody. It’s not good. At least not yet. I’m planning on going with the alternating points of view between Romeo and Juliet and so far Juliet is stupendously boring. Romeo has been tons of fun to write though.
I’ve been playing around with Romeo and Juliet’s love story for years but I finally drew great inspiration from the OP’s for Quinrose’s Romeo vs. Juliet. My story is not theirs though, there’s no vampires as of now at least but I liked the idea of a holier-than-thou Juliet and a ambiguously-evil Romeo. It’s always been dumb to me that the Capulets and Montagues have no idea why they hate each other, which is why the parents did not have hatred while their children did. These alignments allow the hatred to make some sort of sense.
It’s been fun, though I haven’t written anything about it for months already. I created a creation mythos and everything. Good times. I don’t exactly get lots of readers so I won’t post any excerpts for now, but if there’s interest, I would be happy to share script.
